Yesterday, I celebrated 2 awesome years married to Scott. I feel very lucky to have made it this far - it wasn't easy on us for me to be traveling the 1st year and 3 months of our marriage, but we are enjoying life with a new house and time making it a home. He's enjoying riding and upgrading his motorcycle - I'm enjoying doing my art. Speaking of which, my art is going to be taken to a whole new level in the the near future! For our anniversary, there were supposed to be no presents and just cards. Two "Let's make a deal" games later, and picking all the wrong doors (he always has to make things interesting!) I am the proud new owner of not 1, but 2 sewing machines. One is a sewing machine and the other is an embroidery machine. Amazing!

Now my art is going to incorporate fabric and stitches galore! I have a lot to learn, but
Holly can teach me, too - she made this wonderful piece as a housewarming gift - it's a beautiful inspiration.

Back with some of my own art real soon!
